How a tin is made

From raw material to a sealed tin.

Raw materials, checked
Pigments, binders, fillers and additives are checked before they go into production.

Pre-mixing
Ingredients are weighed to the formula and mixed into a uniform base.

Grinding & dispersion
The pigments are dispersed until the paint is smooth and even, with no grit.

Let-down & colour
The rest of the binder goes in and the paint is brought to its shade, one of 260 in our range.

Quality checks
The batch is checked against its specification before it is filled.

Filling & sealing
Paint is filled into packs from 0.1 L to 40 kg, sealed and labelled, ready for the showroom.
